Hi John! I do say that condoms are a male form of contraception – though that is their only option, barring non-reversible methods. What other statistical evidence would you like to see? – Kate

I agree that more research and options should be explored, however, blaming the “patriarchy” with no statistical evidence is just in poor form.

This is such a sad commentary on the state of science and male contraception as well as male responsibility – as the infant still generally stays w the woman post birth and again contributes to limit her career and $ making portential compared to the male!! The reason for abandoning the study — is absurd when u consider the many S/E from OCPs for women !! Not to mention blood clots! And the number of women who die giving birth or from post birth complications! It sadly coincides w our current presidents bias and the list of pre-existing conditions for insurance not including erectile dysfunction – Wow! I am discouraged but will continues to advocate and persist for change!! I am also the mother of two adult sons and believe that contraception should be a shared responsibility !!!
