I was able to bring nitrous to our hospital on October 15,2015. We are only the second hospital in Michigan to be using it for labor and delivery. It will be covered by our local TV station next week.  I would have never been able to undertake this huge project without being a AWHONN nurse. It was hearing Michelle Collins at the national AWHONN conference that inspired me. Being a AWHONN nurse for many years as well as a AWHONN leader lead me to this journey. I am so grateful to AWHONN for making me a better nurse!!
